Southern California Firefighter Health & Wellness Symposium

Firefighter Cancer Support Network, with the support and commitment of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, is hosting an inaugural two-and-a-half-day cancer awareness, prevention, and screening program for firefighters. This program aims to educate participants on the scope and science of cancer, best practices for prevention and survivorship, and the unique cancer threats faced by underrepresented groups, such as female firefighters.

Day 1 will be filled with no-cost cancer screenings for attendees. Available screenings include dermatology, esophageal, ultrasound screenings and more. An evening networking event will be held for all attendees, exhibitors, instructors, and physicians.

The Day 2 schedule will start with the Opening Ceremony, followed by educational sessions throughout the day. After the sessions have ended, everyone can gather for a few hours of networking and comedy provided by Adam Ferrara.

Day 3 will continue with educational sessions, ending at 4:00 p.m.

Exhibitors will be onsite on Days 1 and 2 for attendees to meet, ask questions, and learn from those within the fire service and health industries.
